Water birth can be a valid option for healthy mums and their newborns, either at home with a midwife led medical assistance, or in a birthing house and even in a hospital. There are a couple of hospitals in Paris where water birth can be arranged, plus quite a few independent midwives who assist home water births. Home Birth pools can be rented, either through myself, or other doulas around Paris.
